From Xbox-Linux

Looking at the history of the help page it has just gotten filled up with questions which go unanswered and spam. I think making the help page a guide to using the site is more appropriate. This is how most other Media Wiki sites tend to use thier help page. I've moved the old content to Help:Contents/Archive and replaced it by a bit of basic infomation on how a Wiki works. --Friedgold 09:18, 12 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Newbie asking for assistance

Dudes, i wanna install xbox linux on my xbox however i have an x-ecuter mod chip in my xbox, the evolution-x dashboard seems to have dissapeared for some reason, however, im still able to play "fake" games. Will installing xbox linux stop my mod chip from working?

Big Project!

Hi All,

I got a project at hand! I have 50 xbox's and like to put X-DSL on it native. X-DSL start automaticaly, and starts XAMPP for linux! Apache/php/mysql. And the xbox login automatically.

That is wath i managed to do.

Now the tricky part.

Then a web brownser must start up automatically and open the page localhost. Then the web page must go in kiosk mode (no statusbar or navigator buttons!) And the web brownser must play movies like mpg en avi, so plugins must be installed!

Can anybody help me with this! I want to pay for it! This is a big project and like to make it work!! A few honderd euro is for anybody that coms with a x-dsl distrubution that those this, or a script.

USB Lost!

Hi, I decided I wanted to softmod my xbox using a modded xbox-to-female usb cable and a usb drive. I tride the sandisk cruzer micro 2gb, which didn't work. I bought a sony microvault 256mb specifically off the compatibility list, but i had the same problem. I plug the drive into my xbox and it formats it. then i plug it into my computer and it says i cant open the drive until i format it back. its an endless cycle between the two. please help!!!! lost!!!1
