Unlocking drive

It seems that newer versions of hdparm have support for IDE security features :

ATA Security Options:
--security-freeze Freeze security settings (until next reset)
--security-unlock PWD Unlock drive, using password PWD (DANGEROUS)
--security-set-pass PWD	Lock drive, using password PWD (DANGEROUS)
--security-disable PWD Disable drive locking, using password PWD (DANGEROUS)
--security-mode MODE Specify user/master password and high/maximum security
    u	user password, high security
    U	user password, maximum security
    m	master password, high security
    M	master password, maximum security

I'm running an old version of cromwell (I don't remember what version, sorry), will cromwell/linux still boot properly if I disable the security on the drive with hdparm ?

Hard Drive Limit?

Does Cromwell have support for hard drives bigger than 137GB? or do i have to get a mod chip to have a bigger hard disk?

linuxboot.cfg syntax

i'm trying to write a basic syntax for Cromwell 2.30 to run a file via DVD-R. any help will be greatly appreciated.
