SSE2 emulation via Bochs?

Has anyone thought of simply trying to emulate SSE2 inside the kernel? Bochs has SSE2 emulation code, if that could be transplanted into the kernel it might be posible to boot Mac OS X, albiet slowly (Why? Well, why not?).
