Talk:Xbox VGA HOWTO

From Xbox-Linux

Just here to say that this VGA tutorial is much better than it used to be and is nicely clear and very informative.

Just wondering if any developers think that this (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1088606&Sku=T26-1034) would be of any use. Thought this could solve some VGA cable woes, this would be simple, but the question is, can support for it be ported into Cromwell and Xebian?

that would be great, but the xbox doesn't have usb V2.0. if only it did, the xbox would be a lot more useful.

with the internal sync section. does the 74hc14 really need 1.5V? i managed to get mine working on 2.5V which is probably a lot more monitor friendly. although i am getting lines of pixel shifting running down the screen which i don't get when i use sync-on-green. maybe i need some filter capacitors, i am using the 3.2V line with a diode in series (and a small load resistor to ground) to get 2.5 ish volts. i think this section needs some more info, maybe some connection diagrams

does anyone even read this wiki any more?
